Everyone plays an important role in the success of our show. The director is responsible for marking the script and calling the entire show.

Teleprompters scroll the script as the anchors read. A graphics operator is responsible for any text, over-the-shoulder graphics and credits.

The technical director listens to the director and uses the switcher to move between cameras and stories. The VTR operator cues all of the stories on tape and rolls them on the director's command.

The audio technician controls the audio levels throughout the broadcast and is also responsible for the wireless microphones on the anchors.

Students decide on a story topic and angle and then collect interviews and B-roll footage. Students then edit their own stories in one of our editing suites.
