The 8th annual Eastview
Film and Video festival will be held on Sunday, May 31, 2009 at 7:30pm in the
Performing Arts Center. The festival will showcase work from
Eastview students in the categories of music video, documentary, video poetry, animation,
experimental video and short film.

The festival premiered
Jake Kindberg's short film Premature. Kindberg, a senior at
Eastview, will attend Biola University in California next fall to study
Christian filmmaking. His short film "Extreme Ways" appeared
in the Nashville Film Festival in May, 2004. He previously won an Excellence
in Media Production award from the Association for Educational Communications
and Technology (AECT) for his short film Inside Us All in

Eastview's theater was packed again on Friday, May 24, 2002 to catch the premiere of a film entitled Switch created
by Eastview student Joe Filipas.
